The Swedish massage is probably the most common and best-known type of massage in western cultures.
A Swedish massage can be slow or gentle to promote complete body relaxation or vigorous and uplifting, depending on how you feel at the time and what you would like to get out of your treatment.
This will be discussed with you during your consultation and can be altered throughout the treatment to ensure the best experience for you. No two people are the same and prefer different approaches to their massage and have perhaps areas that they would like me to focus on specifically.
This is why the Swedish massage is great, as it is very flexible and can incorporate so many different moves and strokes to make you feel like a new person after your treatment.
There are many benefits to the Swedish massage and they include decreasing muscle pain and tension, increase blood circulation, eliminate lymph and metabolic wastes and toxins from your body and muscle tissue, lower blood pressure, boost your immune system, promote relaxation and ease anxiety, depression and stress, among many other things.
